Alyss rubbed her gloved hands together. Thankfully the lined leather, although slightly worn at the seams, kept her fingers mostly warm. She looked up at the sky. She attempted to remember what Gaius and Tristan had told her about the clouds. Currently, it was drifting slowly. The snow. Yet it looked like heavy snow might come again before nightfall. The previous deluge had covered the number of the paths.

It was getting dark. And Alyss was frankly terrified. And tired. However, she insisted on walking in order to rest her horse, somewhat.
